Groundbreaking ceremony for HBRE Chu Prong Wind Farm Project – Supercorp Vietnam
On the morning of November 29, in Ia Phin commune, Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province, HBRE Group cooperated with Super Energy Corporation (Thailand) to organize the ground-breaking ceremony for phase 1 of HBRE Chu Prong Wind Farm Project.
HBRE Chu Prong Wind Farm Project is built in Ia Phin commune, Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province. The capacity is 50MW, invested by Super Energy Corporation (Thailand). This is the first wind power project in Gia Lai with a total investment capital of over 1,000 billion VND.
The project is implemented in 12 months, it is expected that in December 2020. It will start generating electricity and connect to the 110KV Dien Hong-Chu Se grid. In addition, phase 2 will continue to be deployed and completed before November 2021 with a capacity of 50MW.
Stating at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Ngoc Thanh acknowledged and congratulated HBRE Group, HBRE Gia Lai Wind Power Joint Stock Company and Super Energy Corporation (Thailand) for starting the project. The first wind farm project in the province.
Also at the ceremony, Ms. Suparporn SookMark – Commercial Consul, Director of Commercial Office of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City believes that the wind farm project is an important milestone marking the cooperation between a Thai group and a Vietnamese corporation in exploiting clean energy sources. She also expressed her hope that this will also be a symbol of cooperation between the two countries: Vietnam and Thailand.
