OUTSPOKEN

       An all-male identified a cappella group at Oregon State, and one of several a cappella groups that thrive in our community.

• Founded in 2002, the group has recorded five albums and participated multiple times in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), where hundreds of collegiate a cappella groups compete annually. Groups are judged on their visual and vocal performances. Outspoken made it to the ICCA semi-finals in 2006, 2007, 2014, and 2020.

Outspoken mainly focuses on contemporary and classical hits and has a history of adding their own unique flair to popular tunes such as “Get You” by Daniel Caesar and “Sanctify” by years&years.

• During the school year, you can catch Outspoken performing on the steps inside the front entrance of the Memorial Union every Friday at 5 p.m. with two other OSU a cappella groups, Divine and Power Chord. Check out the Outspoken Facebook page for updates and videos.
