11 Things We’re Thankful For This Year
Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on all the things we’re thankful for. The staff at CollegiateParent created a list of all the things we’re making sure to be thankful for this year!
1. I am thankful for my family — the ones far away, the ones nearby, and my work family.
I am thankful for the health and happiness of both myself and those I love, and for having everything I need when I need it.
— Mark
2. I am thankful for Love.
Not just the romantic kind but the love of friends and family. Even those who are no longer here I still have that feeling and knowing it will never go away. Love defies time.
— Sherrie
3. I am thankful for having a great family, fun friends, good health, and a rewarding job.
Life is full of surprises, but my gratitude towards these core values hardly ever change!
— Frank
4. I am especially thankful this year for the COVID vaccine, laughter, Netflix…
…my apple tree, and the bounty of our garden that is still providing spinach and carrots!
— Caroline
5. I am thankful that I got the chance to grow my family this year…
…and that I get to spend the holidays with my happy healthy baby boy. I’m also thankful that I am getting to experience this new season back in my home state with family.
— Felicia
6. I am thankful for the COVID-19 vaccine, the love and support I receive from my community and chosen family, and most of all, my dog.
— Kade
7. I’m thankful for my health and my salvation.
— Kimberly
8. I’m thankful for my two healthy boys, amazing wife, and the life I get to enjoy because of them.
I’m also thankful for our client partners and operations team that do an amazing job serving them. None of this would be possible without you!
— Bjorn
9. I’m thankful that this summer, my wife and I were able to spend some wonderful time with friends and family a
t the full wedding we always dreamed of!
— Kyle
10. I am thankful for the scientists who made a COVID vaccine that works,
that my kids are back in school and able to hang out with friends (hopefully suicide rate is DOWN), and that my family is healthy and my 75-year-old mom can visit for Thanksgiving this year. And of course, Zoom calls with fun coworkers who swing at the big fish!
— Noelle
11. I’m thankful for my amazing mom and uncle who do so much for me, my friends, and my crazy kittens!
— Morgan
With all the hustle and bustle of life, it’s easy to forget to appreciate the things we have and the ones we love. We at CollegiateParent hope the spirit of thankfulness stays with you all year through.
