ASUS Prime Z370-A LGA1151 ATX Motherboard
The ASUS Prime Z370-A LGA1151 ATX Motherboard lets you build an Intel Core processor gaming rig or workstation by featuring an Intel Z370 chipset and LGA1151 socket along with three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots. This combination of chipset and socket lets the motherboard support 8th-generation Intel processors. The Prime Z370-A comes with six SATA connectors for optical and 2.5″/3.5″ drives as well as two M.2 slots, which provide support for fast SSDs operating under SATA or PCIe interfaces. For short-term memory support, the motherboard provides four DDR4 DIMM slots, so you can install up to 64GB of memory chips. Moreover, it comes equipped with built-in LEDs that illuminate the insides of your case.
The ASUS Prime Z370-A motherboard has two USB 3.1, two USB 3.0, and two USB 2.0 ports to access external peripherals, such as printers, external storage drives, and more. The USB 3.1 ports transfer data at up to 10 Gb/s speeds, and one of these ports sports a USB Type-C design. For non-gaming builds, DVI-D, DisplayPort, and HDMI outputs are on board to deliver 4K visuals, coming from the processor’s integrated graphics chipset. To complete the multimedia experience, you can connect your sound system to the motherboard’s six audio ports, which are powered by a Realtek S1220A audio processor. There’s also a Gigabit Ethernet port for accessing networks and the Internet. Additional ports can be added to your system by installing optional PCIe cards to the motherboard’s four PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.
