AB Capital LLC is a commercial real estate firm based in Atlanta, GA organized as a vehicle for the joint activities of its two principals J. Dwight Bell and Scott J. Arnold. Mr. Bell and Mr. Arnold, longtime friends and business collaborators, have combined their complementary skill sets honed over four decades in different sectors of the commercial real estate world. Mr. Bell brings a long and diverse resume as a classic full-service real estate developer with rich experience in the office, residential, and mixed-use sectors. Mr. Arnold led a global real estate law practice at a major law firm, concentrating in capital markets before co-founding a boutique private equity firm.

AB Capital LLC has been formed to pursue unusual and perhaps complicated development and investment opportunities in the Southeastern US taking advantage of the unique skills and many contacts cultivated by the principals of the firm over the years. As the principals of AB Capital LLC have served in an owner role throughout their careers, they can uniquely serve their client in an owner’s representative role or can invest in their own projects and attract third party private and institutional capital. The firm also provides an array of development, asset and disposition management services befitting the diverse experiences of its principals.

Mr. Bell’s previous professional associations include serving as a principal and founder of  Cannon Equities LLC (which remains active) and Boss Properties; he also spent early years as a Vice President at Hines, the global real estate development firm.  Mr. Arnold was a principal and founder of  Iron Tree Capital LLC (also still active) and Senior Partner for many years at the global law firm of King & Spalding LLP.  Cannon Realty LLC is a licensed real estate  broker and an affiliate of AB Capital LLC.
