Air Jordan 8
Partnered with Nike, Michael Jordan has managed to release a new model of sneakers every season. It has become a tradition that he has never missed. The NBA All-Star wore the Air Jordan 8 during his games against the Hawks, Knicks, Cavs, and Suns; and reached the peak of his career in those sneaker shoes. Overall, Michael scored 20 thousand points in his NBA career path.
The Air Jordan 8 model was released in 1993 and designed by Tinker Hatfield, who fought to make certain changes in the final version. This pair of shoes doesn’t carry the Nike “Swoosh” logo, only confirming the strong brand awareness of Jordan sneaker lines.
The Air Jordan 8 has straps over the laces with vivid colors and Jordan’s own brand logo. As with any model of Air Jordans, this pair of sneakers didn’t lack new features that helped increase the athletes’ performance. It was also manufactured only with high-quality materials for longer usage, just like any other model from this producer.
Initially, only three colorways were out, featuring red and white Bull’s “Home” and “Playoff” and black and blue in “Aqua.” The first retro edition was the same as the original; however, there was one strap over the lace. The second 2008 retro edition was released with added new colorways for men and women. And the latest third 2013 and 2016 retro editions included the same traditional white and red colors alongside new colorways like “Chrome.” Some of the iconic designs of the Air Jordan 8 are “Doernbecher,” “Aqua,” “Three Time’s A Charm,” and others.
The Air Jordan 8 is very comfortable and durable sportswear that is suitable for both professional athletes and for regular trainers. Some color patterns are perfect for various occasions, looking more classy than sporty. Scroll down to find your next pair of sneakers.
