This isn’t the card I wanted to get, but all of the latest stuff is out of stock and priced insanely high. However….so far this card has been great. It can get a little hot, but not too bad. And I can play a lot of games at max graphics settings without any issues. Of course that depends on the game. So far the only game that I dumbed the settings down on is 7 Days to Die, but I understand that that game isn’t optimized 100%, so it’s expected. And I only lowered the settings a bit. 🙂

I’m also using this with Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.1. So Vulkan, and OpenGL, and such.

It does make more noise than anything else in the case when it’s running hot, but it’s not overly loud or distracting. And there’s no whining noise or anything odd.

Overall I’m happy with it. And it’s preforming better than I expected. But then ASUS ROG products have always worked well for me.
