At first I was slightly skeptical about ordering a refurbished apple watch. I’ve heard of peculiar stories where people get either not what they’re looking for or bricked devices. I ordered through The Camera Guyz & they did an excellent job of fulfilling my order well before the estimated arrival date (over a week early!!)

The watch came in a generic box which is totally okay – no big deal. The watch itself is flawless; no scratches, dings or anything noticeable whatsoever. It’s great!! The battery health on it is 98% which is excellent for a used product.

The only thing that I can critique is the charger & the band.

I placed the watch on the generic charger that it came with & the watch did not charge. After about an hour of charging, it was still not where it needed to be in terms of battery % to apply the correct updates. Luckily, I have an actual Apple branded watch charger which I switched to & that charged it up right away. Unsure if it’s a faulty product or what the issue is.

The band is also something that I am not entirely satisfied about. They send you one size & as I have small wrists, it’s too big. Even on the tightest setting, the watch moves up and down my wrist. It would be alright to send one band if I were prompted to select either the S/M or M/L size options when ordering but this wasn’t an option. The band also doesn’t seem to entirely click in to the watch which might pose an issue when I wear the watch on a rigorous hike or while swimming. I immediately ordered a replacement band – still not Apple branded but excellent reviews none the less.

For the price, this is a great purchase but just keep in mind that you will most likely have to purchase a set of superior bands as well as a charger. However, for just the watch itself – I am extremely satisfied!
