Apple AirPort | Dynamic DNS Service

Prerequisites

Before setting up your AirPort devices on your computer that runs AirPort utility, make sure that you have set up the below:

  • Purchase

    your own domain name and register it for DDNS service or register a free third-level hostname

    here.

  • Sign up for

    membership

    to obtain the Shared Secret (TSIG key) in the MD5 format from the

    API Credentials

    section of the control panel.

Configuration

  • Open the

    AirPort Utility

    on your computer, click on the AirPort Device then the

    Edit

    button.
  • Go to the

    Internet

    tab and then click the

    Internet Options

    button.
