What is the lowest temperature a pool heat pump will work?
The Aqua Pro Inverter Plus Heat Pump is designed to heat swimming pool water that is 7 degrees Celsius or above. When the water temperature drops below 7 degrees, the heat pump will automatically turn off, preserving its lifespan and saving you electrical consumption.
Where should I install an inverter pool heat pump?
Where to install your heat pump depends on a number of factors including sunlight and Wi-Fi connectivity.
It is best to install your heat pump in a sunny position. Why? The heat pump uses the ambient air temperature to transfer energy from the air to the pool water. Therefore, the warmer the outside air, the warmer the water will be.
The Aqua Pro Inverter Plus Heat Pump comes standard with Wi-Fi functionality. In order for this to work optimally, The Pool Team recommends installing your heat pump within range of the Wi-Fi signal. Alternatively, a Wi-Fi extender can be used if this is not possible.
In ideal conditions, if the floor is evenly paved, it is advised to install your heat pump on a lintel on the floor for easy access. However, if this is not possible due to uneven ground or if the ground is gravel, it is recommended to secure the heat pump to the wall with the use of brackets.
