It isn’t the prettiest, but Asus’ K55VD delivers surprisingly good performance for your money. The touchpad takes some getting used to, but as with the smallish 500GB hard disk, these foibles aren’t deal-breakers.

NVIDIA GeForce 610M: Entry level graphics card based on the older GeForce GT 520M or GeForce GT 520MX.

Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
