I had some very good results with Balea Q10 Eye Cream and decided to buy it again. I spotted this roll-on and bought this too to give it a try. Today’s review is all about Balea Aqua Eye Roll-on Gel Creme. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Balea Aqua Eye Roll-on Gel Creme:

The roll-on comes in a cardboard packaging. There is all the information needed on the box. Inside the box, sits this tube. The tube is blue in color similar to the ones from the Aqua range. The roll-on has a screw cap that closes very tight and there is a metallic ball that rolls and is used for application of the product.

The gel creme is light white in color and is more like a liquid gel in texture. It is almost transparent when just rolled. The product smells very pleasant and is mild. It is very fresh. You can press the tube if you want more product to squeeze out. The ball allows an even application of the product.

The application is very thin and I do not apply any pressure and massage the metallic ball under my eyes. The product gets quickly absorbed by the skin and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. The product can be applied both in the morning and evening, but I use this one only for the nights. Once I apply the product, I also use my fingers to massage the product over the lids and around the eye area. I prefer keeping the roll-on in my refrigerator as it adds a cooling effect during application and this soothes and relaxes my tired eyes in the evening!

The product adds a softness to the undereye area and immediately freshens up the eyes. It does add a radiance to the eye area. The roll-on plays a huge roll in clearing puffy eyes. Even though they do not soothe the heavily puffed eyes, a normal one like getting up super early in the morning kind of can be completely lessened.

The product does add moisture to the skin but it is short lived. The moisturization stays for around 4-5 hours and not more. The roll-on doesn’t actually do anything to reduce wrinkles, it creates an illusion that masks the wrinkles by opening up the eyes. The product didn’t cause any irritation or redness near my eyes. I would categorize it as a summer product due to its cooling effect which is much needed in the harsh summers. The product is not a good base product. I have tried it in the morning and applied concealer on top of it, but it creased the concealer and created a messy effect! The product doesn’t contain paraben either. I like the product but I would just stick it to it in summers.

• Doesn’t provide adequate moisturization
• Doesn’t provide any anti-aging effects as claimed
• Doesn’t make for a good base

If you want a cooling product to reduce puffiness and relax your eyes, you can try it. I would stick to using it only in summers.
