Since the early ’90s, a cappella has been a staple of the performing arts community at Boston University. For over thirty years, our groups have sung music of all genres in Boston and beyond, finding their way into studios to release professional-quality music on streaming platforms. With thirteen groups representing different performance styles and cultural identities, there’s a spot for you in Boston University A Cappella — we’re sure of it.

BU A Cappella has a range of groups including male and female-identifying, cultural and religious, and

all-gender groups. Our repertoires range from music like “Lovely” by Billie Eilish ft. Khalid to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley — we’ve got it all!

AUDITION

For the Spring 2023 semester, Boston University a cappella auditions will be held in-person in the College of Arts & Sciences, with virtual auditions upon request. Stay tuned for the sign-up form!
