CORE Services Group – Helping to Eradicate Homelessness & Joblessness in Urban Communities

Greetings

As the days get shorter and colder, we are frequently reminded of the importance of our work in servicing our clients. At CORE, what is most important to us is serving our community with dignity, compassion, and at the highest ethical standards.

It is also the time of year when we want to express our gratitude for our team of more than 1,100 New Yorkers dedicated to providing quality shelter, a safe environment, and our 40,000 fresh and nutritious meals every week to more than 2,500 individuals and families with children. We are proud of our team of shelter providers, security officers, food service workers and maintenance staff and our accomplishments as an organization.

We also thank our community partners who work alongside us every day to help serve our clients—including our neighbors, elected officials, clergy, local police departments and healthcare facilities.

As you may be aware, recent unfounded attacks have created a negative depiction of our leadership and company. That depiction stands in direct contrast with our core values and in all that we have worked hard to achieve. We were shocked and disappointed by these falsehoods and inaccurate reporting. In spite of this, we continue to provide the highest levels of service with dignity and humanity at its CORE. For a factual response to allegations raised, please click here.

CORE is built on the fundamental principles of trust, respect, integrity, and selfless service to our clients. We have never wavered from those guiding principles.

On behalf of everyone at CORE, we wish you a healthy, safe, and joyous holiday season.

Sincerely,

Jack Brown and the Leadership of CORE
