Financial Literacy Group at UCLA
Financial Literacy Group (FLG) at UCLA intends on educating students of all ages about various topics regarding personal finance and budgeting. This organization focuses on teaching topics that aren’t typically covered in high school and college courses. FLG works toward:
Promoting the learning of personal finance and general financial concepts to allow for more confident decision-making and planning.
Encouraging students of all ages to learn how to wisely manage their money and prepare themselves for success in the future.
Enabling a space for students to discuss ideas and issues regarding personal finance and financial literacy.
Creating a website and presentations to engage and teach students.
Listening to guest speakers who are experts in their fields.
