Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois | School of Education: Loyola University Chicago

The Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois program is a scholarship program that identifies talented high school seniors, as well as first and second-year college students who have the promise and drive to be excellent teachers in schools-of-need. This award is open to U.S. citizens, eligible non-citizens, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Apply now.

Selected students receive:

  • Up to $23,000 in tuition assistance
  • Paid summer internships in teaching
  • Ongoing mentoring and support from award winning teachers
  • Job placement assistance

Golden Apple Scholars commit to teaching for five years in an Illinois school-of-need after college, making a difference where it counts.
