On Thursday, the high school hosted their annual powder puff game (held in Koaiʻa due to rain outside), in which the wahine take the field tossing the pigskin around in a competition between classes.

The boys cheer squad for the game shows off some acrobatic tricks for the crowd.

At Friday’s K-12 Pep rally, the kula haʻahaʻa team of hope poʻokumu Wai Paleka (driving) and new poʻokumu Dr. Kathleen Werner, give everyone something to cheer about in their festive cart.

The kula waena cart connects with nature with interim poʻokumu Renee Martin in the passenger seat.

Poʻokula Kāhealani Naeʻole-Wong and kula kiʻekiʻe poʻokumu Dr. Lehua Veincent take a spin in the high school Hoʻoulu cart. Hoʻoulu (to elevate) is the theme for this school year.

Middle school gets loud to show their spirit.

Teams comprised of haumāna from each school level competed in a relay race organized by the student activities committee. From changing a doll, to hula hooping to wrapping football players up as toilet paper mummies, students tried to complete the activities as quickly as possible before passing along to their teammate.

After a tough-fought and rain-soaked game versus Kealakehe, players gathered to celebrate the seniors on Senior Night.
