The verb appreciate has the following different meanings:
to recognize the value and significance of something/somebody

to be thankful and show gratitude

- We appreciate the difficulties you had to face.
- I appreciate that she can’t make a decision immediately.
The form I am appreciated is in the passive voice. It means “somebody appreciates me”, that is, they recognize my good qualities.
- I am appreciated by my coworkers as well as my superiors.
- I’m considering leaving my job. The pay is not good and I am not appreciated.
Instead of I am appreciated, you can also say I feel appreciated:
