I’m fine
1. I am in a state of generally satisfactory health or well-being.
A: “How are you, Tom?” B: “I’m fine, thanks.”
2. I am not hurt or sick; I am all right. Used especially to express that one is not too hurt or sick to do something.
A: “You shouldn’t be walking on that ankle!” B: “I’m fine, I’m fine! It’s just a little sprain!”
A: “Are you feeling OK? You look a little green.” B: “I’m fine. I just need to get a little fresh air.”
3. I do not need anything else; everything is satisfactory.
A: “Would you like anything else to eat or drink, sir?” B: “No thank you, I’m fine.”
