Mekong Delta Small-Group Tour to Vinh Trang Pagoda & Coconut Land

First time for us in HCMC, in fact Vietnam, so was looking a relaxed and cheap excursion. Lunch is included, which although a little simple was more than acceptable for the price paid for the day trip.

Got to see a local temple, ride a couple of different boats and even cycle but beware the bikes are badly maintained and most have brakes that are ineffective.

The coconut processing factory was interesting and the candy on sale was yummy. Many others have said it was a trip that had too many places to buy local produce and nothing more than a tour of places to spend but at no time did I feel pressured into purchasing anything. I’ve been on enough travels around the world to know what real tourist hard sell is and this was far from it.

The guide, Duc was informative and friendly. The bus had great Aircon and the driver didn’t take any risks. All in all a great day out.
