Ohio Class USS Alaska SSBN-732 3D model rigged | CGTrader

Description

This model is very detailed, built near to scale. It includes animateable propeller, opening launch tube hatches, hatches, retractable periscopes, antenna and handrails. The torpedo tube doors at the front of the ship can also be opened. For the re-designated SSGN boats, I have also installed 7 smaller launch tubes into each of the missile silos. Each of the 7 has its own sub hatch covering the interior launch tube.
Model is fully textured with all materials UVW mapped and applied. Most materials are planar mapped and major materials include texturing. All textures and materials are included with the paint scheme as shown. 3ds Max models are grouped for easy selection, and objects are logically named for ease of scene management.
No cleaning up necessary just drop your models into the scene and start rendering. No special plugin needed to open scene. Model does not include any backgrounds or scenes used in preview images.

The Ohio Class submarines were developed for the United States Navy near the end of the cold war. The original boats were originally equipped with Trident I missiles, later with trident II missiles. The original four boats including the USS Ohio, Michigan, Georgia and Florida were to be retired in 2002. But they were reassigned and refitted for non-nuclear guided missile launch platforms. 7 Tomahawk Cruise missiles were fitted into each of 22 launch tubes, and Navy Seal equipment and boats.
