About me

I was born in Australia and lived in Hobart and Sydney. I grew up in a bilingual environment conversing between Greek and English. Growing up in such an environment gave me the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds and cultures.

In my late 20s, I moved to Greece. I lived and taught in Athens, for 5 years before moving to Nottingham, UK. I taught English for Academic Purposes at The University of Nottingham for 10 years. Furthermore, I was an IELTS Speaking and Writing examiner for 6 years.  Now, I am back in Athens and in the summers, I go to The UK to teach English for Academic Purposes at different universities. For example, during summer 2018, I taught at King’s College and in  2019 & 2020 I taught for 3 months each summer at The University of Edinburgh.

Asides from teaching, I enjoy meeting people, going to the cinema, exploring new places and I am learning to play classical guitar.
