Razer has expanded the colours and styles in which it sells its Orochi V2 gaming mouse. As the company’s marketing images show, all new designs come from the Pokémon universe. Additionally, Razer focuses on fan favourites, such as Charizard, Jigglypuff and Pikachu. While most Pokémon have received one Orochi V2 special edition, Pikachu has seven variants with various colours and costumes.

All Pokémon editions are the same as the standard Orochi V2 gaming mouse underneath their shells though, with an 18,000 DPI sensor and six programmable buttons that should last for 60 million clicks. All Pokémon variants weigh 60 g too, and provide 950 hours of battery life from a single AA battery when paired via Bluetooth Low Energy. Alternatively, the Orochi V2 can operate wireless through a 2.4 GHz and USB receiver, although this cuts battery runtimes in half.

The Orochi V2 Pokémon Edition has only launched in China so far, where it is available for CNY 459 (~US$66). Razer has not confirmed whether it plans to sell the special edition models elsewhere yet. However, third-party sellers are already offering them on marketplaces like eBay. Please see Razer’s website for more details about the standard Orochi V2 gaming mouse.
