Reddit – Dive into anything

Ok so this has me a bit confused. I am not super tech savvy to begin with. When i download the updates from the myAsus app, i have been storing the files into a dedicated folder for this on my desktop. This question is gonna sound silly but…Once i download them from myasus, is any further action required? Is myasus basically just “unzipping” the files into that desktop folder waiting to be downloaded or are the drivers/updates/whatever sitting pretty no need to be touched? i only ask because when i open that folder and double click on one of the drivers, it proceeds to run pop up download prompts. Thanks
