Reddit – Dive into anything

Hello guys, I have an Asus TUF fx505du with gtx1660ti and ryzen7. I upgraded it with a 2.5″ 1tb ssd and 2x 16gb ram modules. All in all should be a decent device. I use windows on it as an OS (until today it was upgraded to win 11). But.. Whenever i try to edit photos in Lightroom it seems there is a problem.. Either the video card crashes or I get a BSOD. Until now I removed 1 stick of ram from it, installed and reinstalled video drivers even downgraded (fresh install) to windows 10. Tried different fixes based on the BSOD error codes. Usually if I use the denoise tool from LightRoom it is processing about 20% of the first photo in the set and the videocard crashes. Sometimes the app is blocked, other times the entire laptop freezes. Thermal paste was changed about 4 months ago and both the Nvidia and the AMD temps are at acceptable levels (never over 70*C)

Spec-wise it shouldn’t cause issues with Lightroom and the denoise tool as I am able to use it on an even older pc (i7 6700 + gtx 1660super)

Also in games I didn’t have issues.. I could run GTA, Street Fighter 6, Cyberpunk 2077, Apex Legends and CS:GO with no ISSUES.

Did anyone else, owning a similar laptop, have the same issue and did you manage to find a fix for it?
