“Desiring to further my education had to be one of the best investments I chosen for myself in my life so far, and I have to thank Texas State University for providing me with that higher education. Sociology and History as my fields of study completely changed my life and how I now view the world and how it works. All of my professors were intelligent, engaging, and helpful when it came to subject matter and applying it to real life. The administration at the university, particularly the financial aid department, was extremely helpful with me on how i was able to pay for my tuition. Last but certainly not least, the atmosphere and physical beauty of the campus is phenomenal and it what attracted me to attend the school in the first place. Texas State has a variety of programs and organizations for its students to join, and the San Marcos river is a mecca for sports, recreation, and hosting social events. Texas State University is a school i would recommend to all students from all different backgrounds as an institution to gain the complete college experience.”
