To Be Honest: Lead with the Power of Truth, Justice and Purpose

This is a book I wish was written a decade ago. However, I am also grateful that it was just written a year ago.

As always with me, I judge these books anymore by how many tabs (or highlights if reading the digital version) I have inserted throughout the book. This one has many.

The stories told within our inspiring, but more importantly, the practical advice and questions offered are nothing short than amazing.

Two things I had researched a bit in the past but left off open ended: performance reviews (ended with scrapping them altogether) and mending fences with other tribes. In this book, Ron offers great solutions to both and real-world examples of where the best practice is currently in use.

I am not for one to write a book report/summary/Cliff notes in these reviews and probably never will. I rather just have anyone inspired or aspiring to be and do better to know that I do not hand out five-star ratings like candy. In other words, I would recommend anyone to read this book — this book could easily be considered a foundation piece for navigating your career the right way.
