ASUS X570-Plus Overview
This motherboard is equipped with RGB LED lighting as well as addressable RGB headers, so users can connect and sync additional RGB products.
Equipped with multiple 4-pin PWM/DC fan headers, this motherboard has plenty of cooling potential to keep your system in check. It also has an active chipset heatsink solution and a M.2 heatsink to keep things cool and prevent throttling.
The AMD X570 chipset is designed around 3rd generation AMD Ryzen 3000-series processors. Along with multiple improvements, its most noteworthy one is the addition of PCIe 4.0. PCIe 4.0 has roughly double the bandwidth of PCIe 3.0, which is beneficial for graphics cards, networking devices, NVMe drives, and more. A TPM header allows you to install an optional TPM chip allowing you to add a layer of security for your hardware using cryptographic processing.
The ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi) AM4 ATX Motherboard is built on the AMD X570 chipset supporting second- and third-generation AMD Ryzen processors with an AM4 socket. It has four memory slots for up to 128GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, which can run up to 4400 MHz when overclocked. For storage, it’s equipped with eight SATA III ports and two 22110 M.2 slots. There are two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots for graphics cards, which can run at x16/x4 when both slots are filled, and another two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots for other PCI-based hardware. Other integrated features include Intel AC 9260 Wi-Fi 5, Realtek L8200A Gigabit LAN, and Realtek ALC S1200A 8-channel HD audio.

I really enjoy this motherboard! It was easy to install, was windows 11 ready, LED aspects are nice. 10/10 would get again.

This motherboard is fantastic, it runs great and cool, but one issue I had that took the 5th star. I bought this motherboard because it it one of the best motherboards for AM4 chipset, but you can’t even use it with the best AM4 chips until the BIOS is updated, which was no problem for me since I had a spare Ryzen 5 2600x and a GTX 1050 ti to update bios, but when I tried to boot with my Ryzen 9 5900x and RTX 3060 it refused to boot to bios, even with CMS on. This makes it a lot harder and confusing for others that are putting together a first pc with, let’s say a Ryzen 5 5600x, and not knowing why nothing is working. Luckily I knew what was going on, and knew what to google to confirm, but why not have it compatible with the best AM4 chipset out of the box when it’s one of the best AM4 chipset motherboards?

No issues. Cool addon software. Make sure to keep it up-to-date. I had to change settings to allow virtualization and “secure boot” to upgrade to Windows 11.

This replaced my ten year old pc and I am glad to be able to build again. I always been an Asus fan and it never fail to buy a reliable brand. I am happy with this mobo even if it is not a top tier but with my computer use it is suffice.

tuf gaming x570 plus-wifi is a good starter motherboard, responsive easy to setup and come with some neat features, however i was hoping it would be compatible with my new nzxt case as far as setup with the usb-c connector it came with. not mention we need more usb.’s
