ASUS GameVisual Technology includes seven pre-set display modes that are optimized for different types of content. These include: sRGB, Scenery, Racing, Cinema, MOBA, RTS/RPG, and FPS.
Adaptive-Sync technology syncs the display’s refresh rate with your graphics card’s frame rate output to reduce screen tearing and choppy frames for a smoother experience. It’s also NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible by updating your components to the latest drivers.
Using ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology, this display can reach a 0.5 ms response time, which helps to reduce smearing and motion blur for sharper and more responsive picture.
The ASUS VG248QG 24″ 16:9 165 Hz Adaptive-Sync LCD Gaming Monitor is designed for users aiming to play fast-paced action games such as first-person shooters, racing, RTS, and more. Thanks to its 165 Hz overclocked refresh rate and Adaptive/NVIDIA G-SYNC support, users will be able to enjoy tear- and stutter-free gaming. I purchased this monitor when I replaced my computer because my old monitor did not have a display port input. I had been using an adapter from DVI to display port and my video was glitching intermittently. Since I purchased this monitor and started using a display port cable, I haven’t had a single audio glitch. The picture is amazing such that text is much clearer, making it much easier for my old eyes to see. This monitor is absolute overkill for what I’m using my work computer for, but it’s nice to know that I can expand my uses to include gaming and graphic arts programming if I want to and that my monitor will keep pace with my computer.

I bought this online because it implied it was versatile and adjustable.
I disagree. the color set is buried somewhere. I get eye strain using this monitor. The sound bar profile can’t be accessed to adjust the quality of sound./ The Mount/Stand is very user friendly. The monitor did not come with a HDMI or Display port cable.The supplied instructions gave spec’s but only a overview of operations

Wonderful monitor that I use next to another screen. Everything transitions straight across beautifully, and the colors/ brightness is great.
Although had I researched I would have bought one with a slightly high resolution, because I run it next to my ROG Strix 18 while working.
But this one will be matched with another one like it for my home system.
I will be researching to get a higher resolution to match my Laptop.
Just not sure which Asus monitor that is yet

Great Monitor for the price, excellent stand that seems very sturdy, great viewing monitor that is easy on the eyes.
