Fall Apple Coloring Sheets
When the autumn season comes around, the first fruit that always comes to mind is APPLES! So you’ll find lots of apple recipes on my blog, but until now, no apple printables…
That all changes today with these fall apple coloring sheets! So use these free printables to talk to your children about this yummy fruit. They’d be great for homeschooling too!
Here are a few facts about apples to help you along:
- There are 7,500 varieties of apples grown worldwide…
- 2,500 varieties are grown in the USA, which is impressive. BUT!
- There are also 2,500 varieties of apple grown in the UK, which is crazy considering that the UK is 40 times smaller than the USA!
- The oldest apple in the world is the Annurca Apple from south Italy.
- The most popular apples in the world are Granny Smith and Red Delicious.
- Two pounds or 900 grams of apples make one 9-inch (approx 22cm) pie.
There are four different designs in this set of apple colouring sheets, plus a front cover.
Pick your favorites and print off just those pages, or print them all off and color to your heart’s content!
For demonstration purposes, I’ve digitally colored the front cover, but it is blank in the free printable.
The cover page says “Fall Apple Coloring* Sheets” with apple images in each corner. The cover image above has been digitally colored for demonstration purposes and is blank in the actual printable.

Suggested Art Supplies
I have a problem… I love art supplies! I like to keep a good stash so that I am always ready when my nieces and nephews come to visit. You don’t need all the things on my suggested art supplies list, but I wanted to share some of my favorites with you.
Markers
You can use whatever art supplies you like to bring these coloring pages to life. I love Crayola Super Tips – they come in boxes of various amounts – I’ve got the 100 count box as you can never have too many colors!
They’re kid-friendly, washable, and they also draw thick and thin lines so you can color with precision, as well as cover larger areas.
Crayons
If your child (or you!) prefers to use crayons, I don’t think you can go wrong with classic Crayolas, again the come in various counts.
There are also glitter Crayola crayons and metallic Crayola crayons which will add some shimmer and sparkle.
Coloring Pencils
You’re going to think I’m biased towards the Crayola brand, but I’m not! They just happen to make awesome and affordable art supplies that are safe for kids to use! So try out their colored pencils, because I really don’t think you can go wrong with Crayolas for coloring!
They also have fun scented pencils which will no doubt bring some of the Easter Bunny colouring pages alive with smells!
For older children, and adults who may prefer to blend their colors, try the Arteza brand which is very affordable. Slightly more expensive, but amazing pencils for coloring enthusiasts, are Prismacolor.
Paints
Up next, paints – specifically watercolors – which I love using. I bought this Arteza Kid’s Watercolor Kit for my 6-year-old niece and she loves it. It comes with 36 colors, a water brush, and a watercolor pad.
Arteza also has a paint set for kids with 25 colors and a regular paintbrush. (There are Crayola paints too!)
Glitter
And finally, GLITTER! Add some sparkle to your coloring pages with glitter, because everything is awesome with glitter!
I think glitter glue is the easiest to use as you just apply directly without having to worry about lots of loose glitter going everywhere. Surprise, surprise, my suggestion is Crayola! (I think it’s because I know it’s a brand that is available worldwide, and my readers are far-flung around the globe.)
They have a 25 count set, and a 9 count set of glitter glue. Crayola’s glitter glue is also washable, so you don’t have to panic if it gets onto skin or clothes.
