L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector Review
Hello gorgeous IMBB’ians,
Though I had a backup of two of my all-time favorite sunscreens and I was all set and ready to pass the harsh summer with this stock of sunscreens in my kitty, the moment I saw the advertisement of the L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector on a huge hoarding with Aishwarya Rai’s glowing skin along with the those very words A-Q-U-A in it, I knew I had to get it. Needless to say, I almost ran to the nearby mall to grab it. Read on to find out, if this product was worth all the excitement.

My take on L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector:
The packaging is just sleek and perfect for tossing it in a pouch. It is definitely travel friendly. The screw cap sits tight on top of the nozzle which dispenses the lotion. The only con I find with the packaging is that, the bottle is tube is opaque and once again it leaves me clueless about the amount of product remaining in the tube. The tube doesn’t carry information about the expiry date, thus I prefer keeping the outer carton box which contains what not details of the product. Overall the packaging is functional and convenient for carrying during travelling.
Next about the texture! This is where I fell in love with the product. Once squeezed out of the tube, the lotion looks white in color. But with just one stroke into blending this product, I could see the product breakdown into a watery texture and I was like Whoaaa! The rest is self-explanatory. It blends seamlessly into the skin and immediately imparts a slight glow onto my face. It has a faint smell which disappears almost immediately after application.
My skin type is oily-extremely oily :P. Thus on my skin type, it does not settle into complete matte finish at all. It retains its sheen texture, but still I don’t see my face getting oily for about 2 to 2.5 hours of wearing this lotion, after which the oil factory on my face starts working in full swing and naturally my blotting sheets come to work. This is in a non- AC environment. Under AC this lotion stays put for about 3 to 4 hours, and with this the 12Hour claims is false.
I have been using this lotion for more than two weeks now, and I have not experienced any tanning what so ever. Also, it does not give any white cast on the skin on application.
My skin has accepted this lotion right from the first application and has not caused any eruptions or irritations. About the anti-aging claims, I don’t see any difference in my skin regarding that aspect at all. Thus I definitely feel, L’Oreal has claimed too tall about a rather average product.
Rounding it off, it is a decent sunscreen which has a very light texture to work with which provides minimal moisturization and best suited for beauties blessed with normal skin.
