Nyjah was born on 30th September 1994, in Davies California to parents Kelle Huston and Adeyemi Huston. He has 3 brothers and 1 sister, Isha Huston, Jahmai Huston, Ahbi Huston and Kid Huston. Adeyemi was also a skateboarder during his day and made his sons start skating at the age of 5.

However, his father and he had an estranged relationship soon after, as Huston’s father forced him to skate every day, and abruptly moved to Puerto Rico, making Nyjah lose his sponsorship with Element skateboards. However, Nyjah’s mother was instrumental in getting his career back on track.
