Hard to complain about a boat that is on time and only takes 1:20 from Ha Tien to Phu Quoc. The loud music and the crowded space was a bit much at 8am but then we got to our destination! Buy your ticket in advance if possible. You can do it right before the boat leaves but the transaction takes longer than you think and the boats can fill up. We had reserved through our hotel but then learned upon arrival at the dock that they needed to call someone special in to look at our passports and print out our tickets. The process was rather strange and incomprehensible and could have been avoided by stopping by the day before and buying the ticket in person.
