Valkyrae is a graduate and after completing her studies, she stepped into the outer world and worked at multiple places, like Gamestop and as a clerk at a bank. In 2014, she started using Instagram and after gaining a good fan following, she took a chance to stream on Twitch. Her friends and fans persuaded her to enter the world of live-streaming and as a result in 2015, she started posting gaming videos on YouTube as well.
In 2018, she became the content creator at 100 Thieves and also the first female gamer for which she also got awards. Moving on, she signed a contract with YouTube in 2020 and started creating content and streams on her channel. As of now, Rae has a total of three YouTube channels with millions of subscribers. Her fan following on YouTube skyrocketed when she started posting multiplayer videos of the popular game Among Us.
Rae also collaborated with many other streamers such as Pokimane, Disguised Toast, Fuslie, and more. Following her success, she was announced as one of the co-founders of 100 Thieves on April 7, 2021. In the same year, in March, Rae released a cover version of Last Cup of Coffee with Natsumiii by LilyPichu.
Additionally, she did a cameo in Bella Poarch’s music videos Build a Bitch and Inferno. Valkyrae also features as Corpse Husband in a music video by Machine Gun Kelly. When it comes to donations and social events, Rae collaborated with many big names from the industry for the fundraising event Feeding America by Jimmy Fallon as a segment of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
