will be + V-ing
And @MilkyParkid : thanks for your help. According to what I could understand and base on what you had expressed, I understand that future continuous is used in some cases when I want to talk about the action which is happening from now until the future and that action will occur over a period of time.
For an example : “I’m sorry about forgetting to do my homework, so I promise I will not be forgetting to do the homework ever again” -> it means I promise that from now till the autumn of the time for studying in school, I’ll never forget to do the homework.
So, get back to my paragraph :
As for ‘will be celebrating‘ , it means that the people will celebrate festivities to honor Mr Hopey from the day when that announcement was issued until the day when luncheon would be held this Friday, March 16th or until the day when Mr Hobey would retire at the end of March ?. Because according to that content, each association only had to contribute money by March 15th.
As for ‘will be retiring’ at the end of March, at the end of March is the point of the time, not the period of time. So using future continuous in this case is really good ?
Am I wrong ? Please help me, thanks
Yes, Parla. Language is flexible. There are always more than one way to express a thing. And I guess your work involve with the computer, don’t you ? So I always say what I think by using more than two speeches or even more than five sentences, because my English vocabulary is still weak and I often look up new words in dictionary. As for future tense, I just would like to know when will we use future continuous and when will we use future simple. Maybe it would be better for me if you give me some real example that you often use future continuous in everyday, may you help me ? Thank you in advance. And @MilkyParkid : thanks for your help.
