ACHP/NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE SUMMARY:

One and Half Day Course, indoors with a combination of classroom and live fire training.

Pre-requisite: Must be able to legally own and possess a firearm.

• Legal Rights and Responsibilities • Mindset / Situational Awareness • State Required Legal Briefing • Weapons / Tools / Equipment • “Stop the Bleed” Bleeding Control Class • Firearms Safety & Practical application • Weapons Handling / Awareness • Ready Positions • Fundamentals of Shooting • Malfunction Clearing • State Required Live Fire Assessment • State Required Written Test (open book) • Fingerprinting for a small additional fee.
