The Lodge

Location

Located in the small fishing village of Pelican, Alaska, the only way to reach Apex Lodge is by boat or float plane.  Just on the edge of town, we are far enough away from everything to afford privacy, but close enough it is a short walk to any of the town’s attractions.  Perched just above the quiet waters of Lisianski Inlet we are afforded unimpeded and unparalleled views of the peaks and waterfalls that line the fjord we are located in.  While beautiful views are important, it is nowhere near as paramount as the fishing. Most of our fishing is done around Yakobi Island, with the entire entirety of it’s 82 sq miles being National Wilderness. There is no development and very little pressure put upon our target species.  We truly feel this is a very special location, and are excited to share it with others and to provide you with an unmatched Alaskan fishing experience.
