The Alaska Grizzly Lodge is a beautiful European style lodge located 10 scenic miles from downtown Fairbanks, surrounded by spruce forest and hiking trails. This lodge sets itself apart from the competition with its friendly hosts, cozy common areas, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and stunning Aurora viewing from September through March. Our rooms feature private bathrooms, cable TV, wireless internet and some have direct access to patio decks. 

If you’re visiting to see the Northern Lights, our lodge’s location close to, but away from the city, means that the night skies are void of light pollution. The less light, the better your views and photos will be. We offer aurora wake-up service and have an aurora guide on hand to answer questions about this exceptional natural phenomena and offer tips on how to photograph them.

Nature fans take note that this Fairbanks-area lodge offers immediate access to trails through a beautiful boreal forest. Birds and wildlife call the woods their home and lucky guests have spotted fox and moose on their walks.
