WHALE ISLAND CABINS – Lodging Reviews (Kodiak Island, AK)

Whale Island has all the benefits of Kodiak but with the absence of bears and people. You can truly enjoy nature in what looks like a land that time forgot. Not a sound but the birds and the waves crashing on the shore. The cabins are were clean and well equipped. It was just my family of four and Kat the owner. We walk the beach and game trails for miles. Absolutely stunning and did I mention no people. I have been all over the state in my 40 plus years of living here and I can’t recall a more beautiful and serene location.
